The LIVEN XFM from Sonicware is a practical groovebox with 4-OP FM synthesis. If you think of a ”parameter grave” like some FM synthesizers of the 80s, you can rest assured. The XFM comes with four cleverly combined algorithms that are controlled by four knobs. This is followed by a resonant multimode filter, an LFO and an envelope. Four sequencer tracks can be filled with melodies, weird sci-fi sounds, basslines and percussive sounds. In addition, the XFM comes with an overlay that makes editing the sounds easier.
