När det kommer till Steves rigg har den överraskande nog knappt förändrats på nästan 40 år. Det som aldrig har förändrats är hans handgjorda anpassade förförstärkare, ”Alectron”, såväl som hans prisade specialanpassade vintage Marshall-toppar laddade med EV-högtalare. Vi skickade den ursprungliga prototypen till Steve när han var ute på turné med brittiska Lion och detta är vad han hade att säga om det:
